Are Gift Certificates Available?

Yes, Gift Certificates are available in any amount and can be used towards food, events or gifts. Please stop in and pick one up. We can also take credit card information over the phone and mail a certificate to you.

Do I need a Reservation?

No reservation is needed to stop in for a cuppa or our fresh baked goods. Afternoon Tea Service DOES require a reservation made 24-hours in advance. Please call us at 732-722-8030 to book. Our tea theme changes monthly, to view menu click here.

We also serve lunch fare Wednesday-Friday (see menu) without a reservation.

What is Afternoon Tea Service?

Afternoon Tea Service begins with a beautifully set table. We serve a delicious starter course of soup or salad based on the season. Followed by three tiers of savory tea sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam and an assortment of our tea desserts. Bottomless pots of tea and cucumber water round out the service.

Do you offer Gluten Free menu items?

We can serve any of our sandwiches on gluten-free bread. We also offer a gluten-free Afternoon tea if we are informed at the time the reservation is made. We also accommodate vegan and vegetarian dietary restrictions. We cannot accommodate both vegan and gluten-free restrictions at once. There will be an additional charge of $5 for gluten-free Afternoon Tea Service

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

Is parking available?

Ample public parking is available along Main Street and behind the Borough Hall directly across the street. Our small lot in the back is reserved for tenants of 604 Main Street.

Do you offer private parties/events?

Yes, We do love a party!  We have two separate rooms which meet in the middle.  Our front room holds up to 40 people and our side room holds up to 25.  We do limit parties to 50ppl so that mingling and moving between the rooms is comfortable.  Parties include birthday parties for all ages, bridal showers, baby showers, sales meetings, family gatherings.

Are parties limited to your regular business hours?

No.  Parties can be scheduled any time based on availability.

Can menu items be ordered for take away?

Yes.  Any of our baked goods are available to order.  We also offer many of our sandwiches, quiche and Afternoon Tea favorites for order.

Do you cater?

We do cater for parties of up to 200 people.  We can supply everything from food to servers to china.
